2020 updates in the NUBI 4.0 family
- Versions without infrared sensor have the same inputs and outputs hardware resources as the versions with sensor.
- The BL/IR output, now also available in versions without infrared, reports when the device has an anomaly or, by setting dip switch 5 to ON, when the device is ready.
- In devices with infrared sensor, the BL/IR output can be programmed to be compatible with the previous firmware.
- When the device is in operating mode (dip sw7 OFF) and goes into alarm by delivering smoke, the LEDs flash and the buzzer beeps for 90 seconds. This also occurs if the NCBT test capsule is used.
- In test mode (dip sw7 ON), when the trigger condition of the cartridge occurs, the ALL OUT output becomes active for 90 seconds, simulating the same behavior that would occur in operating mode (dip sw7 OFF).
- In the first 20 minutes after power-on in operating mode, it is possible to interrupt the request for smoke delivery during the 2 minute warning when this was caused by the immediate smoke delivery input (CSI), providing a new pulse on the same input.
- In the versions with infrared sensor, it is possible to program some different behaviors: single or double pulse of the motion sensor, exclusion of the alarm input, exclusion of the infrared sensor, operating mode of the BL/IR output.
- In devices with infrared sensor, it is also possible to drive the SI (system status) and ALL IN (system in alarm) inputs in parallel and thus activate the smoke supply when the infrared sensor detects movement.
- A single installation manual has been written for the whole standard family, we invite you to consult it to find out the details of the new features. Click here to download it.
- The new model codes are:
